Heart to Heart introduces new leadership program, first class

Akron nonprofit Heart to Heart Communications is launching the Purposeful Leadership Program this month to help local professionals find ways to better serve in their organizations and in the wider community.

Applicants selected for the first class are Debbie Barry, Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority; Kimberly Becket, Downtown Akron Partnership; Jaime Blair, Summit County Juvenile Court; Kemp Boyd, Love Akron; Kimberly Cook, Akron Zoo; Bhim Dhungana, International Institute of Akron; Charmane Harrison, Akron Children’s Hospital; Zachary Koh, The Well CDC; Chrissy Lingenfelter, City of Green; Erin Palmer, Leppo Group; Heather Roszczyk, City of Akron and Brian Steere, STEERE.

The program includes six all-day sessions, six hours of one-on-one coaching and a leadership assessment. Funding for the program was provided by GAR Foundation, Welty Family Foundation, Akron Community Foundation, and the Knight Foundation.
